Exploring Technorati and the Future of Education and Libraries (Library 2.0 Week 6 Thing 14)

Wow! What a find. As I explored the Technorati blog search site I ran across a feature on Thomas Frey, senior futurist for the DaVinci Institute. His thoughts on the future of education and libraries are provocative. In education he says, the "future learning system will start outside our existing education systems sometime within the next two years, and cause a revolution to begin...This new system will be able to unlock the hidden potential within us, creating a new grade of human beings - human beings 2.0." I can't wait! He also states that "the ultimate information experience at future libraries will be where great ideas happen and people have the tools and facilities to act on those ideas." Libraries as think tanks. Exciting! (Library 2.0 Week 6 Thing 14)
